Love this thing most out of all my tools. Start out saying that, the only gripe I have is with the pliers. Super nice visual, but they aren't as chocolatey feeling as my wave, and have the tiniest bit of wiggle to them where my wave is almost a little too tight lol.
Beautiful tool tho, love the attention to detail and is my high roller jewelry/get shot done tool. It is as good as everything I've seen about it, and fulfills my edc needs more than anything else I have.
I feel like the man with this and when I pair it with my free K4x and BG paradcord fixed blade, I feel I have all the bases covered on the tool front. I know. I'm a tool.
I've had my T1 for about a month or so now (it is a new release) so while I can't speak to longevity, based on my other collection and use of multitools overy the past 30 years I would expect this to be very good. I can speak to the performance so far, and it has been excellent.
The straight blade is the easiest to deploy of any multitool, period. I'll defend that statement vigorously. It's an excellent blade steel, too, one that accounts for why this tool is more expensive than similar tools with less expensive steel. The quality control is very good - the assembly precision is excellent. This is the first multitool I've purchased, regardless of cost or brand, that didn't require any immediate adjustments or lubrication out of the box. Every tool on it opens smoothly and easily - especially the straight blade, which is "flick friendly", so to speak. I personally love G10 handles, if for no other reason than the improved grip and feel, so this is ideal in my opinion, if you're actually going to use this. I won't make this review even longer with every detail, but:
The sheath is both unique and very good - it is not an off the shelf sheath used by other companies. It is elasticized but still secure - no issues with accessories in the outside pockets falling out. It has both vertical and horizontal carry straps.
The quarter inch bit driver (a must have for me) already has a magnet in it - a nice touch, no need to add your own - so double sided "flip bits" as well as your normal insert bits or extensions are ready to use right out of the box. Included accessories are generous, option accessories are unique (like the pen) and available separately. The pocket clip is very good, secure, and can be removed as desired.
This sort of attention to detail and excellent customer service associated with Dakoyu has continued with this tool, and I'm looking forward to enjoying this one and excited to see the future tools from them.

This tool makes sense, especially if you need an EDC option that packs as many useful features into a compact platform as possible. With a few additions from third party EDC tool manufacturers, such as a racheting hex bit extender and magnetic bit sets, the tool immediately becomes the go-to option as a daily driver. Good job on quality and materials choice.

So really its a 5 star but i wish the serated blade was a full size toolwith the hook cutter at the end rather than seperating and making it two separate tools
